MSW, also known as Master of Social Work, is a post-graduation course that majors in social work. It is imparted for a 2-year duration covering four semesters. The students who want to pursue MSW can do so after completing their bachelor’s degree in the same field. A career in social work comes under NGOs, and this course provides comprehensive knowledge that can help you develop social welfare and humanity. After completing your MSW degree, you can work as a clinical social worker, healthcare social worker, social worker in the medical health and educational sector, therapist, and others. This is a full-time and part-time course where correspondence is completed in five years. The eligibility criteria for this course is that a student must complete graduation from a recognized institution with a minimum score of 50 percent. Students who have completed their Bachelor of Social Work are preferred admission in MSW and who have graduated in streams of science, humanities & social science, commerce, and management are also eligible for MSW courses.
