Middle school, which can range from 5 to 7 grades, is a school that sits between elementary and high school. It can, however, differ from country to country. Middle grades, for example, are classified in some nations as grades 6 to 8, while they are defined in others as grades 5 to 7. The intermediate school is another name for it. Different teachers teach different subjects at this school, which is not the case in elementary school.
The school assigns several teachers to various disciplines for middle and high school students. The concept was first proposed in the mid-’60s, and it grew in popularity over time. Some countries, such as the United States, have abandoned the 10-to-1 arrangement. However, given various states have distinct percentages, this can change from one state to the next.
