Failures and accomplishments arise in life, but how we interpret them and how they define the person we are is only up to us. We are inevitably going to win or lose whenever we engage in a sport like a cricket or soccer. The practice of embracing one’s victory with humility is known as sportsmanship. This kind of policy enables us to handle setbacks and disappointments and to redouble our efforts the following time to be successful. However, we will also work on improving our ability to focus so that we can win the next match. We learn to take defeat gracefully in such circumstances.
In this regard, sportsmanship entails four components, namely:
- Proper form
- Desire for success
All four of these factors are essential to sports, and they all need to be balanced to demonstrate true sportsmanship. These factors could lead to conflict, though, since some people could prefer to play for the victory instead of being fair and equitable to their opponents. This would produce a class that does not understand the basic idea of sportsmanship.
The most frequent conduct that serves as an example of poor sportsmanship, however, is violating the rules or doping to give oneself an unfair edge over the opposition because most sports are rule-based. Unsportsmanlike behaviour is what this is known as, and it is always disapproved of. learn more about Learning Management System.
