Story Writing

Story writing is a method of fictional writing written in a single-plot format. In the writing of tales, real or imaginary events are told with characters and eventful scenarios from a fictional point of view. Story writing is still practised in schools for students to learn the mechanics of writing a story.

Practising story writing can help students discover whether writing is their passion or not. Writing a story basically follows a format that helps writers structure their work. A story’s format is a common feature of many stories and generally consists of five key elements. Character, setting, plot, conflict, and theme are important aspects of a story. Nothing happens in your story if you don’t have characters; How the characters react to plot events moves the story forward.
