Achievement Test

An achievement test is a way to determine or measure a student’s skill, accomplishment, or knowledge in a particular area. Achievement tests are planned in such a way by school authorities to keep an eye on the student’s ability to learn and retain about a specific subject. These tests are held on a fixed interval of time so that students must have enough time to prepare well for the test. Based on an interval of time achievement test is named a daily test, weekly test, fortnightly test, monthly test, quarterly test, half-yearly test, annual test, or summative test at the end of an academic year.

Scores achieved by the students in the test help to determine the level of instruction they have been preparing for such a long time. There are two types of scores on which students get judged- high or low achievement scores. High scores in the achievement tests state that students can go to the next high class. On the contrary, Digital Content, low scores on achievement tests say that the student has to do a lot of hard work or repeat the same academic year. Achievement test plays a crucial role in the education field as it helps to provide a fair idea of how greatly students are responding in their academics.
