CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria and Application Cost

Every year, the National Testing Agency administers the CSIR NET exam to ascertain applicants’ eligibility all over India for  Junior Research  Fellowship and  Assistant Professor positions in India’s prestigious institutions, School Analytics, & colleges. Go to the official website to submit an online application if you’re looking to apply for the (CSIR NET). Candidates must complete the application form with all pertinent information. The application process must be finished by paying the application cost. The application fee is 1000 INR for general category applicants, 500 INR for OBC applicants, and 250 INR for SC/ST and PwD applicants.

Eligibility Criteria 

The following are the essential requirements for candidates to be eligible:

  • Bachelor’s degrees, whether in science, engineering, or another field, are only qualified for the fellowship if they have been accepted into or enrolled in a PhD / Integrated PhD programme within the two-year eligibility period.
  • Those who are enrolled in an M.Sc. programme or who have passed the 10+2+3 qualifying test in the aforementioned subject are also able to apply under the category “Result Awaited” (RA)
  • Candidates who want to apply for a junior research fellowship cannot be older than 28. There is no maximum age for lectureship applications.
