Essential Topics for preparation Earth Sciences in CSIR NET Examination

The CSIR NET examination is conducted by the national testing agency nation wise, once a year, to select candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturer in Indian colleges and universities. One of the subjects to be prepared for CSIR NET is Earth Sciences and the following are some important topics for preparation.

Three sections, A, B, and C, make up the exam book for the CSIR  Earth Sciences examination. There will be multiple-choice questions in it (MCQs). The Earth Sciences paper will have 150 questions, Digital Content, from which a candidate must attempt 75 according to the most recent and accurate CSIR Exam Pattern. Section A carries 30 points, Section B 70 points, and Section C 100 points. There are 200 marks on the test. Parts A, B, and C will also be subject to negative markings.
