The authentic assessment determines if a student can imply classroom information and abilities to a variety of contexts, situations, and circumstances. Authentic Assessment is a measure, of course, of academic results that are based on theoretical best practices for teaching and learning. It can be compared to the difference between evaluating what students know and how they can apply that information in different ways. These assignments differ by discipline, but they usually require students to complete a project. Students might be asked to adopt an engineering challenge to a real-world example, develop a web application, Admission Management, design a model, critically examine case studies, or make multimedia presentations.
Benefits of using authentic assessments?
Authentic assessments track students’ progress in learning course content and subject matter over time. Conventional assessments like quizzes and exams are excellent for providing a glimpse of a student’s understanding of a subject at a certain interval, but they do not always assess how the student can implement what they have learned outside of the classroom.
