Junior high

“Junior High” is a term used in some countries to describe a school for students in grades 7 to 9, typically ages 12 to 15. It is a transitional stage between elementary school and high school, and provides a more focused education in a specific set of subjects. In other countries, it may be called “Middle School” or “Intermediate School.” The curriculum in junior high schools typically includes subjects such as mathematics, science, English, social studies, and foreign languages.
