SUPW or Socially Useful Productive Work is an important subject in educational setup. Typically, schools support SUPW efforts that instruct students in producing useful goods. This effort was initiated in 1978 by the government to inculcate Gandhian values and educational ideas. 

In several curriculums, it is a required course for students. The SUPW’s activities promote collaboration and interpersonal relationships among students.
