TET full form in English

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), sometimes referred to as the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), is the prerequisite for prospective teachers to continue a career in education. Candidates can apply for teaching positions, particularly in Indian Government institutions, with this certification. It is a requirement for a candidate to be qualified to serve as a teacher for courses ranging from first grade to eighth grade.

Candidates for TET must take two exams: one for grades 1 through 5 to determine their eligibility for primary teacher preparation and another for grades 1 through 8. All instructors who wish to instruct the aforementioned classes must pass this test based on the National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education of the Government of India.
