Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education

Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education was founded in the year 1921. It is an autonomous administrated by the Uttar Pradesh state Government to take the authority of conducting examinations of the secondary and higher secondary classes. This board has the largest number of students enrolled under them in the whole of Asia. The High School and Intermediate examinations are held annually and simultaneously all over the state of Uttar Pradesh. There are about 61lakhs students giving examinations under this board.

The main objectives of the Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education are:

  1. Firstly, to conduct the high school and intermediate examinations.
  2. They recommend courses and texts to high school and intermediate standards.
  3. They award recognition to many uprising schools.
  4.  They provide equal importance to exams conducted by boards of other states. 

Presently about 22,000 secondary schools are assigned under the Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School, School Analytics, and Intermediate Education.
