Differentiation in Classroom

Differentiation in the classroom, also known as differentiated instruction, is a technique to curate tailor-made learning instructions in classes that help meet the needs of individual students.

Every student is unique and has a learning style. The chances are likely that not every student has the ability to grasp a subject at the same level. So, how can you deliver your lessons that reach every student?

Try incorporating differentiated instruction or differentiation in the classroom method, which refers to factoring students’ readiness levels and individual learning styles before creating a lesson plan. Many researchers have shown the effectiveness of this method on students with learning disabilities and those considered intelligent. Though the teaching material is similar for all the students, the strategies used to deliver the material vary depending on each student’s ability.
