PCS is an abbreviation for Provincial Civil Service. PCS is a state-level civil service that falls under Group A and Group B of the executive branch of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. PCS Academic Requirements:
- Candidates for PCS must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 40.
- Physical Measurements/Fitness are also required for certain posts to be eligible for the PCS exam, as candidates must conduct specific medical tests continuing with the interview.
- These physical measurements are required for the following positions: Assistant Conservator of Forest, Range Forest Officer, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, and Excise Inspector.
