NTSE Exam

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level scholarship program in India organised by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for students of class 10. The examination is conducted annually to identify and recognize students with high intellectual and academic abilities.

The NTSE exam is conducted in two levels: Level 1 is conducted at the state level and Level 2 is conducted at the national level. The Level 1 exam usually takes place in November, and the Level 2 exam is usually held in May.

The NTSE exam consists of two parts: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The MAT tests a student’s ability to reason, analyse, and solve problems, while the SAT tests a student’s knowledge of subjects such as science, social science, and mathematics. Both parts of the exam consist of multiple-choice questions.

The students who perform well in the NTSE exam are awarded scholarships to support their education. The scholarships are provided to students who qualify for level 2 and are provided till the completion of their higher studies in India.
