Students who have completed their class 10th examinations under the CBSE board are posed with a choice going forward. PCB stands for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. PCM stands for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The main factor differentiating PCM students from their peers with other combinations is the presence of Mathematics as a subject. This makes them eligible for many technical fields and their corresponding entrance examinations. 

Based on their preferences, PCM students can pursue a variety of professional paths in science. After 12th with PCM, there are diverse career paths available that are centered around technology, healthcare, planning, multimedia, and infrastructure.
