What is REET and its eligibility criteria?

REET, an exclusive state-level competitive examination held in Rajasthan, refers to Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan created this exam to certify candidates as qualified teachers to be engaged in Rajasthan (BSER). The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test, or RTET, is another name for this examination.

REET is held to hire instructors for Rajasthani schools. Two levels of teachers are sought for the classes

  •  Primary or Level 1
  • Lower Primary or Level II.

Age Criteria 

  • There is no upper age limit for BSER candidates who desire to take the REET. To take the test, you must be at least 18 years old.
  • If a candidate meets the specific educational requirements established by  BSER for applicants applying for Primary and Lower Primary tests, School Analytics, they may register for the exam even if they are over the age of 18.
