BTC Exam(Basic Training Certificate)

The NCTE, Government of India, recognizes the Basic Training Certificate as a two-year certificate-level education course. BTC is a mandatory training certificate for those who want to teach in government primary schools. The primary goal of the program is to train teachers to teach primary School Analytics.

To appear for the Basic Training Certificate (BTC) exam, the following are the eligibility criteria:

  • Graduation in any subject is required as a minimum qualification.
  • Minimum Required Marks (Aggregate): 50% to 60%, depending on the college.

Admission to the BTC program is based on the procedure and selection criteria established by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the relevant state government.
