IELTS Full form

The term IELTS stands for- International English Language Testing System. To have the ability to work in an English-speaking nation or study there, it is necessary that one must have a good grasp of the language. The cost of the IELTS exam has been revised as of April 1, 2020. Currently, one has to pay around INR 14700. There are four papers for IELTS, which include: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

 IELTS modules are divided into two sections academic and general training. Academic modules are for students or professionals who want to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels or if are seeking professional registration in a particular country. However, if one wishes to migrate to an English-speaking country, then they have to appear for general training. 

The countries where the IELTS examination is required include countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA. The test is graded on a scale of 1-9, where 9 is the expert score, and one is for non-user speakers. The test is recognised worldwide by more than 11,000 employers, educational institutions, and immigration bodies. The test is unbiased and is conducted fairly without any prejudices for everyone from different backgrounds.
