The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous scientific body under India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). NIELIT is actively involved in information technology (IT) capacity building and skill development. Electronics; Communication Technology; Hardware; Cyber ​​Law; Digital Content, Internet Security; Geographic Information System “GIS”; Cloud Computing; chain; data analytics; electronic governance and related industries. It offers courses in both formal and informal disciplines and is one of the National Examining Institutes. NIELIT accredits institutions/organizations that deliver courses in non-formal fields. NIELIT also conducts IT competency programs for many state government employees and the public. NIELIT is also entrusted with the administration of recruitment examinations by many organizations. NIELIT has extensive experience in conducting online exams and third-party course evaluations.

 NIELIT conducts various capacity development projects in IECT to develop human resources at different levels, including high-quality and cost-effective training programs related to employment and self-employment. In addition, NIELIT conducts extensive IT skills programs targeting rural and greenfield areas of the country.
