Rajasthan State Open School (RSOS) was started in 2005 under Rajasthan Institute Registration Act 1958 as an autonomous organization by the Government of Rajasthan. The open school of Rajasthan relies on Jaipur. RSOS was started for personal students who want to realize educational activity at secondary and senior secondary levels. The open schools especially strive to assist continued education for women and ladies, rural youth, working men and girls, SC & ST, differently abled persons and other disadvantaged persons who couldn’t complete it under regular schooling. There’s no upper regulation for admission for the scholars seeking admission to secondary and senior secondary levels of RSOS. However, the scholars must be a minimum of 14 years old for sophistication 10th and a minimum of 15 years old for sophistication 12th enrolment.
Features of Rajasthan State Open School –
· The open board has quite 476 Accredited Institutions (AI’s) as study centres for providing classes to each region in Rajasthan state.
· RSOS provides courses through distance and opens the Learning Management System at secondary and senior secondary level examinations.
· Moreover, the RSOS conducts examinations up to class 12th and other educational institutions like the National Institutes of Open Schooling (NIOS).
· The Council of Boards of faculty Education (COBSE) has approved the RSOS examination for sophistication 10th and sophistication 12th with the exams of other boards & universities of India like CBSE and NIOS etc.
