Education for All

Education for All is the initiative by UNESCO to provide free, quality, and rightful education to children, youth, and adults around the globe. It is also one of the initiatives launched in 1990 to educate all the citizens in the world. The target for completion was set for 2015, as per the Dakar framework of 2015; however, the international organisation could not attain it.

UNESCO has been leading the global initiative, bringing the collaboration of government institutions, non-governmental organizations, private individuals, and civil societies together.

The Global Partnership for Education, also known as the Fast Track Initiative, helped accelerate the overall movement.

The initiative ensures equitable access to learning methods and life-skills programs for all children and adults left behind. As private educational institutions ask for hefty fees, attaining the goals of those left behind is difficult. It also prioritised that girl should have equal access to education methods for quality learning

The Indian Government enacted the Right to Education Act of 2009 to provide free and compulsory education to all children in India within the age group of 6 to 14 years. learn more about School Management System.
