NIPER exam, also known as the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, is a joint entrance exam (JEE) held annually for admission to the Master in Pharmacy, MBA (Pharma), M.Tech. (Pharma), and PhD in pharmaceutical and biological sciences courses. Every year, the number of seats varies, but in 2022, the total number of seats is 820 offered by NIPER institutions in various cities such as Mohali, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Raebareli, Guwahati, and Hajipur.
The exam pattern of the NIPER exam is computer-based, continues for 2 hours, and includes 200 multiple-choice questions. The questions comprise MSc and B.Pharma levels, along with general aptitude questions. Additionally, the exam pattern specifies that the questions are only asked in the English language. Also, the grading stated by the NIPER institutions involves 1 mark for every accurate answer, whereas an incorrect answer will deduct 0.25 points.
