TET Exam Qualification Details

The TET Examination has set its own qualification details, starting from age limits to educational qualifications. There is no prescribed age limit for candidates who wish to pursue the WB Primary TET Exam, according to TWB TET Eligibility Notifications. However, because the candidates’ minimum qualifications are class 12, it can be ruled out that the minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years.

Educational qualifications are separate for primary teachers and secondary teachers. Primary school teachers, who teach classes 1 to 5, and are applying for the TET Exam must have a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education and a Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary diploma with at least 50% marks.

However, secondary School Management System teachers, who teach classes 6 to 8, and are applying for the TET Exam must have passed the B.Ed/Secondary education exam with at least 50% marks. They must also hold a B.Sc./B.A. or any equivalent degree from a recognized university or college

There is no chance for maximum attempts in TET Examinations.
