Understanding the concept of Holistic Learning

Holistic Learning is a systematic approach to teaching in which educators strive to meet students’ emotional, social, ethical, and intellectual needs via integrated learning. Students learn to reflect on their behaviours and how they affect the world and local communities, as well as how to learn from those around them. Teachers frequently include students in projects that require them to use critical thinking abilities to solve real-world challenges.

According to UNESCO, holistic learning is a learning technique that engages the learner’s intellect, emotions, imagination, School Analytics, and body to promote more efficient and consistent learning.

Advantages of Holistic learning

Holistic learning, at its foundation, is individualized and fair training that focuses on a child’s development. To promote learning and experience, the ideals of holistic learning may be applied to any academic institution.
