The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) was established as a result of the 1972 Gujarat Secondary Education Act. The GSEB is in charge of determining the state’s secondary and higher secondary educational system’s policy, and administrative, cognitive, Admission Management, and intellectual direction.
The functions of Classes 1 to 12 are handled by the GSEB (Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board). It also prescribes study materials and administers examinations for all of these classes.
Gujarat’s state-level exam is administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. It is also in charge of developing a well-organized syllabus for secondary schools as well as textbooks that cover the entire curriculum.
